Murthal, a big village in District Sonipat in Haryana. It is only 20Km from Delhi border. It is very old village having a population of appx. 50000 person. NH44 crossed the village, due to which number of eating options and other properties are available along the NH44 in Murthal. It was one of the best loved destination of truck driver in old days, who travelled on the highway. Previously this highway was known as NH1 OR GT Road but now it has been renamed as NH44.
Due to number of eating option available in Murthal in the form of Dhabas, it is also known as Dhabha Capital of India. Previously it was loved by truck drivers only, but now it is loved by every age group and every type of person. These Dhabas are famous for their iconic tandoori parathas with white butter.
One more unique quality of the Dhabas is they only serve pure vegetarian food. Non Veg is not allowed in these dhabas in Murthal. We can mainly divide these dhabas in four categories.

- Special Dhabas: These options serve the food in unique and different ways and known fortheir special waysof serving. For Ex. Resham Dhaba – known for their largest parathas,Hawai Adda – where you can enjoy the food sitting in the airplane.
